Ethiopia and South Sudan to strengthen regional collaboration

Ethiopia and South Sudan agreed to work together on regional issues and security capacity building.

The Director of the Ethiopian National Intelligence and Security Service, Temesgen Tiruneh, held talks with the Director of Internal Security of South Sudan, Akol Koor Kuc, on bilateral issues, according to a statement sent to a state media.

The two parties pledged to strengthen regional security through information exchange on arms trafficking, terrorism and illegal border activities. They also agreed on providing human resources training to South Sudan through the National Security University College under the National Intelligence and Security Service.
